The recent addition of Mass Effect's iconic Normandy ship to Hello Games' No Man's Sky demonstrates the popularity of the new release.

The release of the Legendary Edition has prompted veteran players to return to the trilogy's vast galaxy and has also introduced a new generation of gamers to the series. The first installment's combat was considered to be slower and less intense than its two successors', so BioWare made some changes in order to bring all three titles onto the same level. The three-part remaster has been critically praised, particularly in regards to the gameplay improvements introduced into the very first game.

While the Mass Effect trilogy has always been beloved by gamers for its epic scale and intimate narrative, Legendary Edition has brought the iconic trilogy back into the public eye. Just recently developer BioWare released Mass Effect Legendary Edition, a remastered compilation of all three games in the trilogy. The hugely successful sci-fi role-playing trilogy began back in 2007, with the trilogy's final installment releasing in 2012. A notable Mass Effectmodder has gone on hiatus, and removed all of their work from Nexus Mods, as a response to the possibility that other modders will remake their work within Mass Effect Legendary Edition.
